Stop....SUMMERTIME!! *insert stupid but kind of awesome dance here*

Hello, Hello internet community! Its been ages since I've posted (I think I posted like last year or something) So.....happy 1st half of 2012! The years already half way over and it's hott as hell in California. (ooopps....probably shouldn't give away my location...oh well nobody reads this anyways)

School got out for me on May 24 and I've been spending my quality time switching from my everyday school routine to that of my summer one where I stay up all night and sleep all day...I think there's a song with lyrics like that or something. It's escaping me. Oh well. Since I have a but load of free time I've come to find that I really don't do a whole lot. I mean most of the time I'm on Literotica reading online romance novels...or listening to the audio books. That really is basically all I do....oh, and since I don't have an mp3 player or anything similar I also listen to music on you tube.

What a sad lowly existence. Anyway, I kind of wanted to post random pictures and stuff, but now I kind of don't want to. Sorry, your just stuck with plain boring text and the sound of my writing "voice" to keep you company. I am really excited for Senior year! I can't wait because after that it's COLLEGE! I've wanted to go to college since i was in 7th grade and did a research project on UC Berkeley. I am currently deciding where to apply to...

UC Berkeley

UC Berkeley or Cal is located in its namesake city near Oakland, California. The picture above is of Sprowl plaza across from the student union. In the background is the iconic bell tower. I went to a Berkeley football game during homecoming a few years back where they were playing Oregon State and it had a lasting impression on me. When we drove through the city to get to the campus I just remember thinking that this couldn't be a college...it was such a colorful, lively and fun environment. I knew by looking at all the shops and stores that this was a place I could be. Then at the game the atmosphere was so full of energy. Being a seasoned High school vet looking back on the experience, I know that homecoming can be a very fun yet stressful time...especially if your on any homecoming committee's or doing event planning.

 Since that monumental trip was taken I have since fallen deeply, no...MADLY in love with Berkeley and its History Program. They offer diversity in the courses they offer so you cover different subject matter, time periods and regions of the world. No other college I've looked at have had the type of catalog that Cal has. Not only do they offer many different courses, but they also teach a wide range of foreign languages

As a history major I would like to be able to at the very least read,if not speak, Greek, Arabic and Latin. These are just so I could be able to read primary sources of different time periods and not have to rely on translations. If i could master speaking them as well that would be a great advantage for me as well. For languages I would like to learn just because would be the three romance languages(i.e French, Italian and Spanish), German, Japanese and possibly Swahilli or Russian. I might be out of my mind for thinking I can learn all of these languages, but I'm damn sure going to try : )

Well I was going to mention the other schools but after I saw how much I wrote for the Berkeley entry I think its pretty clear which school is my first pic ; ). But i'll be nice and post links to my safety schools in the order of where i would go if my #1 pick (Cal) didn't want me *sad face*

1. Mills College - Oakland, California (sorry boys, but this is a women's college)
2. Claremont McKenna - Claremont, California (co-ed, but don't know too much about it...its website is kind of a barren landscape of blahness)
3. Sac State - Sacramento, California  (this is too close to home, but if nobody else wants me, this is my cop out option : (

I think I've made up for my long delay with my long ass post. Now that I don't have anything to do, maybe I'll try to post everyday or every other day at the least...hell who am i kidding...I'll just start with once a week  and see how that goes.

huh, my boo from once upon a time all grown up *sniff,sniff*. just reminiscent about the good old days. So, there is this cool clothing store online called modcloth and its really cool. all of the clothes have character and aren't boring or regular in any way. they are all quite interesting and unique. 

Oh, by the way, tonight is also New year's eve eve a.k.a the day before new year's....just had to type that. I've also been checking to see the few people of the world who would take time out of their lives and waste a couple of seconds on my blog. Most are just clicking on the pictures that I've posted, but it's quite interesting to see where my viewers come from. So i would just like to say, HELLO INTERNATIONAL VIEWERS!  I would just like to give you a warm internet welcome ; )

I Died.....and came back to blog life

Well, i've been A.W.O.L for god knows how long...though it's summer now, and i can officially rant every day now....though i think i might just post pictures or fun facts of random stuff here every day...i don't know we'll see.

Any who....well today wasn't really interesting but my internet has been being really retarded recently and has been stopping me from watching my anime and reading my manga...grrrr. I actually got around to watching some pretty cool anime. Maybe I'll talk more about that tomorrow. Oh my god, i just spelled tomorrow right WITHOUT spell check! YAYYY *does happy dance* . Well i want to get back to my cutesy shojo manga...i have to see how the main character and her hunky and delicious  man candy end up

I'm Alive.....and Happy New Year!!!!

 Well it's been forever since i've typed and just said hello to the big wide internet world.  Right now i'm in the middle of hell....and suffering quietly....and trying not to bitch too much to myself..*smiles*

oh, i have horrible manners...Happy New Year! i almost forgot about that. i personally don't see the whole big deal about new years is because i mean i don't even tell the difference between years because i still feel the same. unless i go through some personal breakthrough to expand my views on the world.

*sighs heavily* this is painful for me because i have no idea what to write because i'm not one to remember to write something religiously.

Well today (over winter break and this week to be more specific) i figured out that i'm a sick and twisted individual because i laugh at dead baby jokes and i giggle and smile when someone describes the process of castration. *giggles* oh, well the crazy ones are always smarterer!

Ah...there's nothin' like a good project over the holidays!

okay, well i didn't write yesterday because i actually forgot. I was also "attempting " to start some of the many projects my teachers decided to grace me with *note sarcasm*. The big project is a book report for pride and prejudice by Jane Austen. Now previously on my own i tried to read this book thinking that if i read it earlier it would come in handy-how right i was. But the last time i started reading it i only got about a 1/3 of the way through. So this time not only did i forget what i read from the last time, i also have to deal with the fancy- smancy english dialect of the time. So to help me decipher this classic I always have an open browser to www.sparknotes.com to get me through the more challenging passages.

  This is the movie poster for the 2005 movie starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen. I also have this map thing when Europe was in its Imperialism phase. I have to show where the countries had their territories, what type of imperialism they practiced in that territory and their spheres of influence in non imperial countries. Oh and the "fun" project i get to do is research teen pregnancy for my health class-yay! Even when i list all the things i should be doing over thanksgiving break, i feel like i'm missing a few. Oh well, i'll figure it out tomorrow when i'm playing catch up. : }well, until next time!

The keeper of my heart

as the title above suggests, today my post is about the man who truly has my heart trailing after him and leaving a bloody trail. That man is none other than the Phantom of the Opera!

    i personally love the 2004 movie version where Gerald Butler is the phantom. I would recommend to watch the movie on you tube. My heart is very fond of the music of the night and point of no return. though in point of no return Eric (phantom's name) sings a portion of his all i ask of you to Christine and that would have to be probably my favorite part in the movie. After i saw this movie Gerald couldn't do any wrong in my book. 

well, maybe i should plan ahead of what i'm going to say, but i'm new and semi motivated to write a blog. but i will make a commitment to write everyday no matter how boring my day was. when i go back to school and start having homework again, that will be the real challenge.
